NNT staff member Feston has been selected to take part in a Government initiative following Cyclone Freddy.
A focus of the Cyclone Freddy Recovery Plan is to encourage more children back to school.
Feston was selected by the Nkanda Primary School head teacher to help with this important task. Over the month of November, he has been visiting the nine villages around the school to help raise awareness.
We were delighted that Feston was selected, and the charity has been able to support this by funding a supply teacher for one month to allow him time to do this community outreach project.
