We have been so blessed to have such loyal regular givers at the heart of our charity – it has been pivotal in keeping the charity financially stable for over a decade.
There have been many changes in Malawi since we first founded the charity and opened the nurseries, one of which has been the increase in government teacher’s salaries.
We are very proud of the fact that we have been able to appropriately benchmark against the government wages, and have in turn increased our salaries in sync with the government. This has meant a significantly higher annual cost for the charity in recent years.
Two of our trustees James and Stuart have already pledged to take on a charity run in 2020 (any runners keen to join them, let us know!)
In the past, we have had support from bake sales, cycling challenges and adventurous hikes. Every penny will really count for us in 2020, and we would be more than happy to support with any event or fundraising so please do get in touch to nansatonursery@hotmail.co.uk if you have an idea or question. Thank you!
